Real licensed providers. Not chatbots.
Every prescription on Medivive is signed by a licensed clinician in your state, employed by TrueEval Medical Group. Not a referral middleman. Not a marketing partnership. A real medical group with operational accountability. Your protocol is owned end-to-end by a licensed clinician, supported by a coordinated care team: the AI surfaces what is worth a closer look; the clinician makes every prescribing decision.
Who treats you
- Board-certified clinicians — physicians and advanced practice providers (nurse practitioners and physician associates) review your intake, set your protocol, and adjust it over time.
- Licensed in your state — telehealth visits and prescriptions are handled by a provider authorized to practice where you live.
- A named medical director — clinical standards are set and overseen by a designated medical director, with documented protocols and provider accountability behind every decision.
- A coordinated care team — a bilingual team handles scheduling, refill coordination, and questions between visits, so a real person supports you.
Credentialing, monitored continuously
Licensure is verified before a clinician sees a single patient, and monitored continuously after. Coverage spans all 50 states so that, wherever you live, a clinician authorized in your state owns your care.
- Every clinician's license is verified at onboarding and re-checked on an ongoing basis.
- Status is monitored continuously — lapses, restrictions and renewals are tracked automatically.
- Your visit is routed to a clinician authorized where you live.
- Prescribing follows documented clinical protocols, not a one-size-fits-all script.
Lead clinician
Shannon M. Smith, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC is Medivive's Lead Clinician and Founding Nurse Practitioner. She is triple board-certified — in Family practice (FNP-C) and Psychiatric-Mental Health (PMHNP-BC, PMHNP-C). That combination is rare, and it matters: a single clinician can account for how metabolism, hormones, sleep, mood and cognition interact, rather than treating one symptom in isolation.
She brings 22 years as a registered nurse and 6 in advanced practice. A U.S. Navy veteran, she is completing her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at the University of Alabama. Shannon is multi-state licensed with autonomous practice authority, cares for patients by telehealth and in person, and helped shape Medivive's whole-person care model.
Contact and escalation
Clinical questions, follow-ups and escalations are handled through Medivive's care team — never a personal line. For account, scheduling, refill and billing questions, message the care team in your patient portal. Clinical concerns are routed to a licensed provider through the portal. If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
